An example interview for a product manager role. The interviewer asks about a decision made without all the data. The answer is marked for a specific number, a filler word, the candidate’s own part and the result.

Honestly, we kind of all just agreed2 it was the right call, I think. The data was pretty clear, so we rolled it back and, um, wrote it up for the board.

Was anyone against it?

You

Our head of growth was. I showed her the mobile drop-off step by step, and we agreed to roll back for a week and test again1.

Meet Kai

A coach that has read every interview you’ve done.

Ask what to work on, why a score dropped, or how to answer a question better. Kai answers from your own interviews, not a script.

  • Knows your whole history

Jobs, resumes, transcripts, reports and action items. Answers point to what you actually said.

  • Suggests, you decide

Kai can propose an action item or a practice interview. Nothing is added until you tap Add.

  • Remembers what matters

Interview dates and goals carry across chats. See and delete what it remembers on your profile.

  • Help on every page

Readiness

Know when you’re ready. Don’t just hope.

Every job gets a readiness score built from your recent interviews, newest counting most. Until you’ve done three and covered most of what the role needs, it says it’s provisional.

Practice in private.

Rehearsing means getting it wrong a few times first. That stays between you and Kaiphy.

  • Your camera stays with you

In a video interview the camera is there so you can see yourself. It is never sent to the AI, and how you look is never judged.

  • Recordings are yours

What is Kaiphy?

Kaiphy is interview practice with an AI interviewer. Add the job you’re going for, take a mock interview by voice, video or text, and get a report that rates every skill the role needs, quotes your own answers, and turns each gap into an action item you can finish.

How does the AI interviewer work?

It reads the job listing, and your resume if you’ve added one, then asks one question at a time. It follows up on every answer to get at what you did yourself, how, and what changed as a result. It never gives hints or feedback during the interview; that all comes in your report.

What kinds of interviews can I practice?

Three kinds: behavioral, about real situations you’ve handled; role knowledge, about the judgment the job needs; and a resume deep dive, about the claims on your resume. Each runs by voice, video or text, for 5, 15 or 30 minutes, at easy, standard or hard, with a friendly, neutral or tough interviewer.

Which roles does it work for?

Any role. Software engineers, product managers and data analysts are rated on skills specific to their work, like system design, prioritization or SQL. Every other role is rated on the core skills every interviewer looks for: communication, collaboration, ownership, problem solving and adaptability, with questions shaped by the listing you paste.

How is my interview scored?

Each skill is rated on four steps, from Not yet to Developing, Solid and Strong, and every rating points to the moment in your transcript that earned it. Together they make a score out of 100. How you sounded is measured separately: your pace, filler words, hedging and how long your answers ran.

How do I know when I’m ready?

Every job gets a readiness score built from your recent interviews, with the newest counting most. Under 50 is Not yet, 50 to 74 is Getting there, 75 to 89 is Ready and 90 or more is Strong. Until you’ve done three interviews and covered most of what the role needs, the score is marked provisional.

What is Kai?

Kai is your coach, a chat that has read your jobs, resumes, interviews, reports and action items. Ask what to work on, why a score dropped, or how to answer a question better. Kai can suggest an action item or a practice interview, but nothing is added until you tap Add.

Are my interviews recorded, and who can see them?

Voice and video interviews are recorded so you can replay them from your report. Recordings are private to you, never scored, and kept until you delete them, and you can switch recording off before any interview. In a video interview the camera is only there so you can see yourself: it is never sent to the AI, and how you look is never judged.

Will Kaiphy give me answers to memorize?

No. It helps your own stories land. The interviewer won’t help you invent experience, and the feedback, lessons and practice all work from what you actually said and did.

How much does it cost?

Kaiphy is free to start. Create an account, add a job, and you can take your first interview today.
